MN-Music - Captures an Evening with Mpress in Minnetonka, Minnesota

On September 30, 2001 Mpress, a upcoming R&B/Pop music group, put on a performance for about 500 Musicland employees in a party atmosphere at the Marriott Hotel Minnetonka. The band consists of three young ladies, Lauren Hart (17), Marissa Clark (19), and Zoraida Rosario (21).   All three ladies are from Florida and represented by Big3 Records.

The ladies did not play any instruments during their performance, but in this writers opinion they have very talented voices and do a great job of writing their own songs.   I enjoyed the performance and would recommend going to see them the next time they are in town.   The only part of the evening that was a slight disappointment is that the hosts missed something in the planing of the show and the Minnetonka police showed up at 12:16am, ninteen munutes after they started their performance, and stopped the show rather abruptly.
